I have seen several loads of VERY expensive plastic site decking material headed North on Hwy 61 out of Baton Rouge. Anybody have any ideas where the site might be?

There are no rigs drilling or assigned in any TMS county or parish.  In fact there is not a single rig drilling or assigned in the entire state of MS as of last Friday.

Nice to see you back Jay. With the WTI hanging around $60 that puts the LLS in the area of $70. I think we are close to the point of seeing some activity restart. If you look at the Amite County post from last week there is leasing restarting. I think that is a pretty good sign things are looking better for the area.

They cut across to I55 and went North

I was hoping someone on the ground would be aware of a site being prepared. A lot of site material is trucking North up Hwy 61 from Baton Rouge. I saw one load on I-10 Monday, 2 loads on 61 between Port Hudson and BR Tuesday, another 2 loads Wednesday and 1 load yesterday. There could be more. I had something else to take care of and could not follow the trucks. Each load had 30+ of the plastic site pads on the float. Just hoping some of our scouts on GHS knew where this is going.

There are TMS completions ops ongoing but no sign of renewed drilling.  The LLS premium to WTI is currently $3.40, not $10.  Yesterday the spot price was $59.89 for WTI and $63.29 for LLS.  A long way from the $80 threshold mentioned by Jay.

Does anyone know if they have started completion work on the Kinchen58H#1 yet?

I haven't heard anything regarding the TMS RA SUA;KINCHEN 58H #1 in a while.  I have it's status listed as Waiting On Completion.

Thanks that is what I saw also just thought they may not be reporting.......

We may have to wait until GDP makes it's corporate presentations on second quarter financials and operations in late July or early August to learn details.  They have 6 wells drilled but not completed, or at least not announced complete.  I think when they complete one they will complete multiple wells, if not all.

Thanks Skip you have been very helpful hope to meet you some day

You're welcome, Frankie.  I think it is possibly the right time to start a new discussion about the future of the TMS Play.

Plastic is also used in sandbaging expensive homes along the R. River
