Natural Gas Generators

Lets talk about diesel generators vs. natural gas generators. Is anyone using either of these and where? I am in South Texas and we just don't seem to be getting any electrical power infrastructure and we are using both and as with everything else....the money saving tactics for each is here from both sides. I just want to know what everyone is seeing in every basin??????
