Permalink Reply by Skip Peel- Independent Landman on February 3, 2012 at 11:38am This is the first SWN map of the LSBD prospective area. I would encourage members to add some of the later versions. This is the only one I have saved.
Permalink Reply by Cal Carter on February 3, 2012 at 11:43am Anybody able to provide a similar map zoomed out and showing the same map extended across the Mississippi River? We are supposed to be just East of the Monroe Dome in Sharkey and Issaquena Counties.
Permalink Reply by Skip Peel- Independent Landman on February 3, 2012 at 12:29pm Cal, this is a SWN map and I have never seen one by them that extends into MS. I consider the counties you mention as being in the prospective fairway.
Permalink Reply by Bobby T. Hughes on February 3, 2012 at 12:49pm Is that well at Atlanta (Columbia County AR) finished, and is it producing? I have 85 ac SE of Village, and NE of this well site that I have not leased. I think all the land around it has been leased. I also have land south of Mt. Holly, just north of Hwy 82 in Union County, but it has all been leased.
Permalink Reply by Skip Peel- Independent Landman on February 3, 2012 at 1:03pm The Roberson well has been completed in sequential stages. The completion data will probably be included in the presentation that SWN has scheduled for Feb. 9.

It zooms in real close, but I don't think there are links to give it more detail - such as old wells, smaller roads, property ownershiip, oilfields or leases. (Just wishing for the moon here; I'm sure that would simplify life for landmen too, but that would take all the fun out of their jobs.)
Anyhow, its good!
Anybody heard of any activity or potential activity in Miller County Arkansas? or is it to far west? or are companies slowly working toward Miller? Thanks for any information that may br available.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
