Does anyone have a report from NAPE?  My grandson works for a survey company who has a booth each year at NAPE and he said it was a smaller showing than usual from East Texas and Northwest LA.  He…Continue

Sabine/NFR

Sabine/formally NFR is going back and completing several wells that were drilled in 2010-2011.  This week they reported the Swepco Deep Gas Unit 1-H over by the Pirkey Power Plant tested at over 11 million cubic feet per day.  They presently have frac lines laid out from the frac pit by the Bartley #4 to a well further to the south.  I am not sure what well it is.KathySee More

Sendero

There was a Harrison County discussion a couple of years ago about who Sendero was leasing for. The landman who leased a tract from us north of Hallsville stopped by yesterday on another matter for a different broker and said that job is finished and Sendero has filed assignments on their leases in Harrison County to BP.  I am going to try to go to the courthouse to look at the assignment.  He said the assignment was made in April and there is still some work to do, but most of the 150+ crew…See More

Simonds Land Service

Does anyone know who Simonds Land Service out of Weatherford is leasing for?  Our neighbor contacted us yesterday and a representative met with him and wants to lease their place northeast of Carthage.  They offered $300 p/a & 1/5 and said they are working for a "Big Boy" but can't say who.  Our neighbor called us and asked if we knew anything about them.  I said I didn't but I would put a note on the Panola County board this morning.Thank, KathySee More

Well... that was easy. Rogers #3H permit was approved on 10-10-12 and a rig was moving on 10-14-12. The rig was on that well until about 11-23-12. BP has reported the drilling complete on the Rogers #2H but no IP yet. Nothing reported on Rogers 3H but it has been drilled.

There are two production reports available for #2H:

November -   75,544 mcf

December - 140,518 mcf

Nothing yet on #3H.

Kathy,

I only track Haynesville wells on a regular basis but I'll see if I can find out.

I know Encana is under a financial crunch with the low dry gas prices. In the TMS they have 5 wells being fracked now -  Encana has 3 of them (2 Ash wells and another Weyerhauser well) and they are in the first few thousand feet drilling the 3rd Anderson well. They have told us that they plan to drill 3 more near the Anderson site and would be their with the current rig until August. Also, they said they are bringing in another rig in March. Just a week or so ago they had a good JV well with Goodrich and Contango (the Crosby well) which had an IP of over 1100 and was flowing at 1260 boepd shortly after. I do not believe they are leaving the TMS but things change. I know they have been looking for a JV partner for the TMS since the late fall. The TMS is 95% oil ands that is what they are supposedly focusing on. They have cut way back on all gas well drilling. I have heard that most if not all of their Texas activity was in gas. We will just have to wait and see. Encana has a drilling pad just 1900 ft. from my back door in W. Feliciana Parish that is ready to be drilled. We were told it would spud April 28, but we were told that several months ago. Hopefully there hasn't been a change of heart. So far the TMS has been moving in the right direction to prove up its commercial potential. There are 5 wells being fracked right now, so I guess we will have to wait and see how these wells do.
