Welcome, Nancy.  Yeah, a lot of members (laymen) tend to get over excited at the thought of getting royalty income.  The TMS is an emerging play that got caught at a vulnerable time by the drop in crude prices.  It has some promise, some challenges and some limitations.  I suggest you search the groups for the parish or county in which your mineral interest is located, join it and read through the discussion threads.
