You're right, it will probably be something close to $2.45-$2.70. We're averaging ~65% of NYMEX monthly closing price each month on our JIB statements. Even compared to Henry Hub, that is extremely low. I've talked to other non-operating WI owners…

Great info. Thanks!

Depending on the contract and the lease terms, there are large variances in the amount and type of deductions you may see. Some gathering contracts are fee based...$/mmBtu gathered...while others can be a percentage of proceeds...they gather the gas…

IANAL. This is some of what little the RRC has posted on their website. They have no authority over the payment of royalties and provide only general information. Specific questions probably should be addressed by an oil & gas attorney. From the RR…

Baron, Yep, operators have not supplied any info other than gas volume and "this is the price we're paying you for your portion" and I don't believe the State publishes pricing information anywhere??? And I was referring to "NYMEX SETTLEMENT PRICE…

We received this notice from an offset operator. It sure would be nice to have a similar law in LA as we're getting hit with various deducts to the tune of about 65% gas price realized -vs- NYMEX! Texas Royalty Owners Pursuant to HB 981 passed by…

the statement regarding deductions says... information about itemized deductions. this would indicate to me that a royalty owner would be entitled to specific information pertaining to those deductions which were listed. kj

Look at the "Well Tests" section of the Sonris Lite Well Files. Companies are required to post a representative test on each well a couple times per year. Unless they wildly guessed or willfully misrepresented the data, you can get an approximate i…

I talked to Gene...the head of Sport Tran. He said they DO have the ability to sell to the public at this time. They are exploring their options (hi-press trunkline, etc) right now. It will be over a year before their NG busses will arrive. Maybe i…

Hmmm...good point. I didn't even know Sport Tran was city-owned. I figured it was a private-public co-op like you see in some cities but this is from their web site: By 1970, ridership had dropped to the point where it was no longer profitable. In…

The problem is that you can't yet buy a NGV in Louisiana. California, New York and now Utah are the only States that offer the only NG production vehicle: the Honda Civic GX. Maybe this is a harbinger though that it is coming to LA. It only makes se…
