Thanks for all the great information on this site. New to all of this, but it has been helpful in locating guidance on pipeline agreements. With family land in Bienville Parish,La, I have been trying to gather some recent information on the “going rate” per linear foot (or rod) for purposes of negotiating a pipeline agreement -- if this comes to pass. Its early in the process as we have only recently been contacted regarding surveying for a north-south easement through our heavily timbered property.

Unfortunately, most recent discussions I could find on this site (and I may be just missing it) seems to be from a couple of years back -- from the 2009-11 period. To be specific, has anyone completed (or aware of) a recent 2013-14 pipeline ROW agreement/transaction that they can share  details such as cost per linear foot specifics about. It seems this proposed pipeline is related to the below pipeline construction News Announcement made last month. They are moving pretty fast it seems.

On Mar. 17, 2014, PennTex Midstream Partners, LLC closed the formation of PennTex North Louisiana, LLC. The joint venture establishes an area of mutual interest among the parties in north Louisiana for the development of midstream infrastructure. The initial phase consists of constructing a 200 MMcf/d cryogenic processing plant and associated natural gas residue and natural gas liquids pipelines. PennTex NLA expects this initial system to be in commercial operations in the first quarter of 2015.

there are several practicing land men/women that frequently post on this board. you should be able to get very informed advice from one or more of them, although, it may not be until after Easter.
