SWN has contracted with Dawson Geophysical and Kingfisher Exploration Services to perform 3D seismic "Eclipse 3D" in the middle section of Union Parish and a small portion of Union County. Here is a map of the area to be tested for those interested.

I don't blame them for trying to get by cheap, but that sounds a little low to me.  I do hope they get good news from this though.

My land is on the lake due south of Farmerville. They renewed my lease, but haven't approached about seismic yet.

Is there a section map of activity south of Lake D'Arbonne? We are pretty sure we own our rights from research at the clerk of court office, but have never been approached by any landman or companies.

Use this link and click on the map.  It's the best you will find unless someone has built their own from the well and unit data.

Thanks Skip.  I've actually seen that one, was hoping for a more detailed map based on sections.

I was told when initial leasing took place they weren't interested in anything south of the north shore of D'Arbonne

Hmmm...my inlaws on HWY 33 and Sardis Church RD, south of the lake just had their lease renewed.  Our tract of land is just on the other side of the highway south of Milliard Hill RD.  Maybe we are not lucky, but I'm still crossing my fingers :)  Thanks for the info BLZBub!

We received $5/acre as well. Can anyone tell us when we might expect "results" of testing and what "form" that would take?

SWN won't be announcing the results of the seismic survey results.  It will be proprietary data.  We may be able to infer something from what SWN does after the survey is complete.

How long until they get results?

We haven't gotten enough reports from members participating in the survey to make an educated guess.
