Is there any way to find out the acres and/or boundries for a given well unit other than call the operator?  It seems to me it should be in the SONRIS data base but I can't find it.

Post the well Serial Number.  One of us will look it up for you.  Well & unit plats are not part of the SONRIS Lite database.  There should be a tutorial in the SONRIS Help Center group.

I will be out for a week and will get the serial number when I return.  I was hoping there was some way I could look up this information myself

There is.   Find how in the SONRIS Help Center Group.

One thing not on the SONRIS help center is how to use the new GIS feature. If you use the new GIS, you can highlight the well in question and the site will bring up all the well information and documents, including the plat.

Andrew if the new GIS has completed the testing and comment period please add a discussion on that feature to the SONRIS Help Center group.

I knew I would get volunteered for something if I wrote that!

I'll work on it over the next couple of days.

Thanks, Andrew.  The SONRIS staff is actively soliciting comments on the new GIS and would appreciate any feedback you might care to give.

I was also trying to find plat information on SONRIS with no luck.  We believe there are 2 producing wells in our plat but need to locate the plat map to confirm this.  The well information is: (1) JESTMA LLC 15H (Serial No. 241330) and (2) JESTMA LLC 22H (Serial Nos. 240030 and 244915). I would really appreciate any help you can provide.

Ginger, do you own minerals in both Section 15 and Section 22?

We know we own minerals in Section 22, however, we wanted a copy of the plat to confirm that the well in Section 15 is part of the pooled unit.

It's a different unit.  Section 15 is unit HA RA SUK.  Section 22 is HA RA SU55.  In SONRIS Lite the number in the well name will denote the section that is being produced and the section-township-range for that well will be the surface location.  You can also look at the first (bottom) line of the Well Scout section to see the location description for the surface location and for the Bottom Hole location

Here is the location for S/N 241330::

208' FNL & 2085' FWL OF SEC 22. PBHL: 250' FNL & 1890' FWL OF SEC 15.

Surface location is 208' From the North Line & 2085' From the West Line of Section 22.  The Planned Bottom Hole Location is 250' From the North Line & 1890' From the West Line of Section 15.

S/N 241330 has a surface location in 22 but is drilled into and producing from HA RA SUK which comprises Section 15.  The other two wells are producing from HA RA SU55 which is Section 22.

Thank you Skip.  I really appreciate the information.
