A while back I read that the longest bear market for natural gas was 22 months.

The "bear" market that we are experiencing right now definately feels longer than 22 months.  Where is a good source to get this statistical data.

Any type of reference would be helpful.

Use this link and scroll down to review NG prices going back to 2007.  Any historic data previous to 2007 has little relevance for future pricing because that is prior to the shale revolution.

Shale revolution has many industries converting
to gas as cleaner, cheaper, and abundant energy
source.

This link's pricing goes back to 1976.
