ADUBU-YES, IT IS BEING LEASED. IT IS IN ROGERS GAS UNIT. I HAVE NEVER HAD MUCH PRODUCTION ON IT IN 20 YRS. I HAVE RESEARCHED THE RRC TEXAS AND I NEVER SEE MUCH ACTIVITY IN THAT AREA. THEY OFFERED 50K AND I NEED THE MONEY RIGHT NOW. MY ORIGINAL POST WAS ABOUT A MONTH AGO...I HAVE SINCE DECIDED TO SELL

DLH--- also Limestone County has had lots of activity thru the years with some great wells--- what survey are you in -- are you leased? -- do you have production? Look at ther RRC Texas Web Site and check all the activity in Limestone

DLH--- Be careful they don't steal your minerals with low ball price-- suggest read a lot of threads about selling your minerals on these site--generally the buyer wants to make 10X +on their  money and in general not good ideal to sell your minerals unless you are old and one foot in ground and need emergency money--- what is their offer?

ADUBU, THEY ARE WANTING TO BUY

DLH---You say you have gotten large offer---- is offer to lease your minerals or some one trying to buy your minerals?
Comment by jffree1 on June 11, 2011 at 10:52
DLH, if you will give a Survey name or abstract number I can look to see what's been permitted in your specific area.  Generally, XTO has filed most of the permits in Limestone Co. this year.  They are permitting for Cotton Valley Lime (gas), Travis Peak and Pettit (oil or gas) formations.
