I'm retired (older & set in my preferences) and prefer the Sonris Lite option that allow queries without using the plug-ins.  I really don’t understand why it has to be “either/or”.  Can it be “both/and” as it used to be?  I see they have maintained the sonris lite option of querying only for some reports and the plug-in option only for other reports under the new platform.  Prior to this change, you were allowed both/and (both native browser functionality and plug-in) options on some of the report queries.  You could use the plugin if you liked or use only the native web browser functionality if you like.  It looks to me that they have gone to an effort to purposedly block or not allow both/and and it has become either/or.  My question to them would be, “why can’t it be both/and as opposed to either/or, like it used to be”?

I have the other links that “full name” gave in the “sonris update wells by S-T-R” thread.  That is very helpful and I’m using that instead of the plug-in.  Can’t teach an old dog new tricks.  I hope that doesn’t get blocked.

Ditto on the old and set in my ways, bes.  The first question that I asked our friends in Baton Rouge was can we keep the SONRIS Lite searches.  I'm being patient and will see how the database works once all the changes are in place.  I shared a link to this discussion with the staffer heading up the database rebuild so I hope that more members will post here and share their experience with the "new" SONRIS.
