The US rig count increased this week by 20 to 1161 with the gas rig count also increasing by 9 to 757. The most significant changes were increases in the Permian Basin (+7), Anadarko Basin (+5) and LaMiss Salt(+4).

The total number of drilling rigs on Haynesville Shale wells increased by 5 to 132. The number in Louisiana increased by 3 to 111 and the Texas count increased by 2 to 21. DeSoto Parish led in Louisiana with 58 followed by Red River (23), Caddo (16), Bienville (7), Bossier (4) and Sabine(3). Chesapeake (36) leads among operators followed by EnCana/Shell (24), Petrohawk (9), Exco (9), Comstock (6), Questar (5), El Paso (4), Goodrich (3) and EOG (3).

The US rig count increased this week by 4 to 1141 with the gas rig count remaining unchanged at 748. The most significant changes were increases in the Ft Worth Basin (+5) and Uinta-Piceance Basin (+4) and decreases in the Permian Basin (-5) and SW Wyoming (-4).

The total number of drilling rigs on Haynesville Shale wells increased by 4 to 127. The number in Louisiana increased by 3 to 108 and the Texas count increased by 1 to 19. DeSoto Parish led in Louisiana with 57 followed by Red River (26), Caddo (14), Bienville (6), Bossier (3) and Sabine(2). Chesapeake (32) leads among operators followed by EnCana/Shell (23), Petrohawk (11), Exco (10), Comstock (5), Questar (4), El Paso (4) and EOG (4).

The total number of drilling rigs on Haynesville Shale wells decreasee by 2 to 123. The number in Louisiana decreased by 2 to 105 and the Texas count stayed the same at 18. DeSoto Parish led in Louisiana with 54 followed by Red River (26), Caddo (14), Bienville (5), Bossier (3) and Sabine(3). The total number of drilling rigs on Haynesville Shale wells is 116. The number in Louisiana increased by 1 to 103 with 13 rigs in Texas. DeSoto Parish led in Louisiana with 54 followed by Red River (24), Caddo (12), Sabine (5), Bossier (5) and Bienville (3). Chesapeake (32) leads among operators followed by EnCana/Shell (22), Petrohawk (12), Exco (9), Comstock (6), El Paso (6), Questar (5) and EOG (4).

Does anyone know anything about a rig located about 1 mile south of the Dunn exit of I 20. Located on R8E-R9E line. S24 R8E or S19 R9E.

The US rig count increased this week by 8 to 1048. The gas rig count also increased by 4 to 725. The only significant change was an increase of 3 for the Permian Basin.

The US rig count remained almost constant this week decreasing by 1 to 1040. The gas rig count decreased by 5 to 721. The largest changes were in the Permian Basin (+5), Ft Worth Basin (-5) and Uinta-Piceance Basin (-4).

The number of drilling rigs on Haynesville Shale wells in Northwest Louisiana is now at 101. DeSoto Parish led with 51followed by Red River (23), Caddo (9), Sabine (7), Bossier (6), Bienville (4) and Webster (1). Chesapeake (29) leads among operators followed by EnCana/Shell (22), Petrohawk (9), Exco (7), Comstock (6), El Paso (5), Questar (4) and EOG (4).
