It seems awful quiet on this forum. The calm before the drilling storm hopefully!!!! But even if not, what's going on out there?

Seems quiet everywhere. I hear landmen are still around but not hearing of any activity. Wonder what they are doing?

ALongview, Devon is definitely trying to get to the drilling stage. I think we may see a permit or two next month and a rig after the first of the year. Of course, that is just my opinion, based on what I have been told. And landmen don't always have the best or latest information from the drilling side of O&G business but I think what I am hearing is fairly reliable.

I heard the same exact thing so maybe there is more to it than just rumor.
Have you heard anything as to what they will be targeting outside of the shale?
Nothing but speculation. I'll withhold comment until I hear something from closer to the horses mouth...instead of the other end.
Understood!
jffree1, Anything new on the vine out there in Sabine County?

Thanks for the update. It will be the first permitted well in Sabine in a long while.
HS, Was it Endeavor looking to drill? I know they have acreage over there. We have small % of good sized tract leased to them a little north of 9 mile rd. in Slaughter and Love survey.
