My son CJ flew recently to his next assignment. He told me that at least 20 people stopped him and spoke to him thanking him for his service. He said dozens of others nodded at him or smiled as he walked by. He said the flight attendants hugged him on the plane and told him they were praying for him. There are a lot of things we have gotten wrong recently, but one of the things we have gotten right is how the public treats our soldiers. Thank you to all who pray for and support my son and the hundreds of thousands who volunteer daily to guard freedom's door. Sleep in peace tonight. I know one of our soldiers and he represents the absolute best our nation has to give!!!

My prayers are with the families of Fort Hood as they bury their sons, daughters, dads, moms, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

If you want a Christmas project for your group here is the best you can find. Go to Anysoldier.com. This is a sight that connects military guys and glas with people who want to support our troops. Our church high school students pick out a name(group) every year and send them a small tree, decorations and gifts to go under it and several times during the year until their deployment is over. You don't have to make a commitment and cards and letter are good.

Support our troops. right or wrong. They are keeping the US ftee, while the politicans are trying to create a dicitatorship. Send more troops to AFgan now. Years ago i was one of the troops and proud of it.

happy our men are treated when they return from duty overseas with respect and honor and not like we where in the late 60's early 70's

Two things that send chills down my spine ... funeral taps and/or bagpipes.
The one thing that leaves me stunned and mind-boggled ... all the names on The Wall.

Prayers for those currently serving, never-ending gratitude to those who served. Extra thanks to those who served in defense of another country so that others may live their lives that much closer to that which we are so fortunate to live.
