Jim, are you referring to the 4 640-acre L SMK RB SUA-D units approved by the Commissioner of Conservation for Weiser-Brown on May 13, 2014, effective April 15, 2014 (Field Order 1383-A-4)? Unit A was for the currently producing WB well in 12-22N-1E, and WB permitted a well in Unit B on June 17, 2014, L SMK RB SUB;PLUM CREEK 7, in 7-22N 2E, according to SONRIS Lite:

Unit C is immediately east of Unit B and Unit D is immediately south of Unit B, as shown on p. 3 of the following link:

Thanks Obed........Weiser-Brown managed to permit those locations all around me.

Excerpt from Seeking Alpha about SWN by a CFA dated 6/24/14.  Just FYI.

New Ventures Haven't Really Delivered Yet

"New Ventures" is how Southwestern refers to a host of exploratory acreage positions, including about 2.5 million acres in New Brunswick, Canada and more than 450K acres in the Lower Smackover Brown Dense play of Arkansas and Louisiana. Southwestern also has acreage in the DJ Basin, Montana Bakken, and Niobrara.

So far, these assets haven't produced encouraging results. Test wells in Sheridan County (Montana) didn't go well, and of 13 wells in Lower Smackover, just one proved economic. Southwestern has allocated about 10% of its capex budget to Lower Smackover, but if the results don't start improving, I would expect the company to move on and prioritize the DJ Basin and Niobrara acreage.

BD notes from the June 25 Global Hunter Securities 100 Energy conference webcast.  Wells on hold until 75 square mile 3D seismic shoot is completed.  A couple of new vertical wells to be drilled later in the year.  Three existing wells appear to be economic.  Uncertainties over why one well  which is frac stimulated and one that is not have similar production characteristics though only 3/4 mile apart.  Allowing some leasehold to expire while taking some new leases.

BD comments in the last couple of minutes.

My wife has family and land around the Garrett well. We got a email today saying they are moving equipment in today at the Garrett well. I don't know what kind of equipment. Anybody know more?

Hopefully to try a new frac but it could be to plug and abandon. Do you know what the letter said specifically?

Nothing official. Just a letter from family saying that they saw equipment going in and she heard they were going to try to produce it again. That's all I know.

Any chance of photos? If you see a bunch of rectangular trailors and hear what sounds like a jet engine then that's a really good sign because they are probably fracking.

I know someone who went by the well about an hour ago. They said there was a flare and what appeared to be a work over rig. I don't know why they would be doing this? Any pros care to comment? There were no signs of fracking but their frack pond is still in place just down the road from the well.

I have some contacts in the area and have asked them to check, but haven't yet heard back from them. I wonder if SWN wants to try something similar to what they said they were going to do in the McMahon well; i.e., perforate at a somewhat higher interval in the BD.  It seems they could do this in the heel of the lateral.

Looks like Stallion is setting up a office trailer or crew house on the Johnson well. Does anybody know whats going on there.
