Moon-Hines-Tigret Operating Co., Inc. just drilled a dry hole near pond. I spoke with their engineer the other day and he told me they drilled to the Wilcox Minter Sand which is about 8500 feet.
I do not know the exact location insofar as Section but you could find that on the MSOGB website.
